We provide after-school club sessions which encourage children to be themselves, in a fun environment amongst their friends and to let off steam at the end of the day. We have a fortnightly film club with popcorn as well as lots of exciting activities for the children to choose. After school club is for all children from Nursery up to and including Year 6 with the option for Year 7 pupils to join us by way of transition to Secondary School life. Drinks and snacks are provided each day.
Opening Times – Monday to Friday term time
Times: End of school day until 18.00
Younger children (Reception -Year 2) are collected from school and older children (Years 3 – 6) come over to cabin independently at the end of the school day. Children hang up their coats/bags and sit down for a little well-being session, this consists of the children talking about their day, sharing any news or achievements and taking in an interest in each other outside of school and cabin. Children are then offered snack, which consist of various fruits and a carbohydrate such as crumpets, toast, pitta pizzas or hot cross buns, milk, and water. Children are encouraged to hep themselves with the use of food tongs and to pour their own drinks, this helps children to share, take turns and to help each other.
Staff plan an activity per day for the children to take part in if they wish and outside play is always encouraged daily. Children have access to scooters, go-karts, sports equipment, loose parts and much more!! Children love having the freedom to choose their own play and we find it creates a lovely atmosphere for children of all ages to play together and build friendship bonds for those in different classes.
Children are welcome to suggest new ideas, equipment and resources while at the setting and we regularly ask for children’s feedback. We pride ourselves on valuing the children’s opinions and thoughts as we feel this strengthens the relationships that we develop with them.

Rydym yn darparu sesiynau clwb ar ôl ysgol sy’n annog plant i fod yn nhw eu hunain, mewn amgylchedd hwyliog ymhlith eu ffrindiau ac i adael stêm ar ddiwedd y dydd. Mae plant iau (Derbyn-Bl 2) yn cael eu casglu o’r ysgol a phlant hŷn (Bl 3-6) yn dod draw i’r caban yn annibynnol ar ddiwedd y diwrnod ysgol. Mae plant yn hongian eu cotiau / bagiau ac yn eistedd i lawr am ychydig o sesiwn lles, mae hyn yn cynnwys y plant yn siarad am eu diwrnod, rhannu unrhyw newyddion neu gyflawniadau a chymryd diddordeb yn ei gilydd y tu allan i’r ysgol a’r caban. Yna cynigir byrbryd i blant, sy’n cynnwys ffrwythau amrywiol a charbohydrad fel crumpets, tost, pizzas pitta neu byns croes poeth, llaeth a dŵr. Mae plant yn cael eu hannog i hep eu hunain gyda’r defnydd o tongs bwyd ac i arllwys eu diodydd eu hunain, mae hyn yn helpu plant i rannu, cymryd eu tro ac i helpu ei gilydd.
Mae staff yn cynllunio gweithgaredd y dydd i’r plant gymryd rhan ynddo os dymunant ac mae chwarae y tu allan bob amser yn cael ei annog bob dydd. Mae gan blant fynediad at sgwteri, go karts, offer chwaraeon, rhannau rhydd a llawer mwy!! Mae plant wrth eu bodd yn cael y rhyddid i ddewis eu chwarae eu hunain ac rydym yn gweld ei fod yn creu awyrgylch hyfryd i blant o bob oed chwarae gyda’i gilydd ac adeiladu cysylltiadau cyfeillgarwch i’r rhai mewn gwahanol ddosbarthiadau.
Mae croeso i blant awgrymu syniadau, offer ac adnoddau newydd tra yn y lleoliad ac rydym yn gofyn am adborth plant yn rheolaidd. Rydym yn ymfalchïo mewn gwerthfawrogi barn a meddyliau’r plant gan fod hyn yn cryfhau’r berthynas rydyn ni’n eu datblygu gyda nhw.
