Welcome to Ysgol Bwlchgwyn CP, a happy, caring and inclusive school at the heart of our village community. The school is set in lovely grounds in a beautiful rural location and is proudly the highest school in Wales. We provide education for pupils aged 3 to 11 years and are an English-medium village school, situated near Wrexham in North Wales.
We currently have just over 100 pupils from Nursery through to Year 6, alongside our Early Education provision. In addition, we offer complete wrap-around care on site, provided by Cabin Crew, supporting our families throughout the school day.

We are proud of our strong links with the local community, including Christ Church, Bwlchgwyn Village Hall and Stori Brymbo, which enrich our pupils’ experiences and help them feel a real sense of belonging. Through a wide range of opportunities both in and beyond the classroom, we aim to prepare our children for the future, helping them grow into responsible, respectful and successful members of society.
